Brinley & Alex
A Boat Ride To Wedded Bliss
Brinley and Alex had an entire pandemic to plan their wedding and what a magical exquisitely beautiful, joy and love filled day it was. And it all began with a boat ride.
These two were blessed by the Spirit of Love when they were still teenagers. Having met in high school, during wrestling club, Alex knew pretty much right away that Brinley was going to be his wife. With his purity of heart and clarity of knowing, it didn’t take Brinley long to know also that Alex was “the one”.
They waited to finish both high school and college and got their careers launched and then it was time to launch the boat that would carry them to the alter at their seaside chapel, aka Brinley’s parents’ gorgeous lake front home. Every single detail was designed, color co-ordinated and displayed with so much creativity through out the multi-leveled property. The guests gathered and the soft violin music played and off in the distance we could see Brinley’s dad’s boat slowly making its way across the lake to the long deck at the edge of the property. Two by two the lovely attendants walked down the dock and lined up on either side of the simple, gorgeous arch that awaited the bride and groom. Alex arrived, escorted by his beautiful mother, and stood smiling ear to ear, eagerly awaiting his Brinley. Eventually the flower guys arrived escorted with fun music and laughter as they dispensed their petals down the aisle between the rows of guests.
“Please stand to welcome our bride” Brinley, a vision in pure white, also smiling ear to ear, held fast to her father’s arm as she walked the long dock and followed the trail of petals to her beloved Alex’s side. Tears were already flowing as the guests took their seats and for the next twenty minutes we bore witness to the mystery and magic of a true, love filled marriage being created. With hand fasting ribbons, light hearted and deeply genuine and devoted vows and finally rings blessed and exchanged, Brinley and Alex were finally able to hear the words they had waited for for so long. “ I now pronounce you husband and wife!” They say a picture is worth a thousand words and this one says even more. I absolutely know that these two are on their way to a fantastic happily ever after. With God and the Spirit of Love as their constant guides and companions, theirs is destined to be a lived as a marriage made in heaven.
