Evolutionary Relationships

Have you ever considered that your relationship, the love that has come to you as your life partner has the power to heal and help our entire world evolve? That is a BIG idea. I happen to believe it is true.

Please read this powerful message from author and sacred activist Andrew Harvey. Note to those reading who are averse to the word or concept of God, just substitute what ever language you are more comfortable with, Universe, Source, Infinite.

The message is that our relationship with THAT is actually the primary relationship that we are all called to cultivate. We are here first and foremost be BE our most full and inspired SELF. That call requires that we heal our wounds, attend to our imperfections and “shadow” and learn how to experience love directly from the Source. Then we are called to share our gifts, passion and purpose with the world. That process occurs in an interior relationship. When we recognize that it is the same for our partner we support them in their inner life and realize that we are together to champion each other’s growth and call to purpose through our shared love of each other.

What is stunning is realizing that this kind of loving and all that it demands of us, is actually what also transforms our world. We resolve and dissolve our insecurities, our dependencies, our separateness, our power imbalances in ourselves and in our primary partnership and in so doing provide one unit of conscious love on planet earth with two individuals who are ready willing and able to contribute their light to our world. THIS is what is meant by evolutionary relationships. Pretty powerful stuff when you just thought you wanted to fall in love and live happily ever after in your own humble, small life.
