Venue & Vendor Team Extraordinaire

Twin Willow Gardens Snohomish Wedding Tour 2022

You are engaged!!! Congratulations! And now you enter the very creative process of envisioning the wedding of your dreams. One of the best ways to find inspiration and the exceptional vendors that are available is to attend a Wedding Show or Tour. One of the premier ones in the Pacific Northwest is the Snohomish Wedding Guild Tour. It happens every June, come rain or shine, and it is an extravaganza not to be missed. I attended last year as a guest and explored several of the venues. All of them are completely unique and there truly is a setting for everyone. This year I was honored to be chosen as one of the vendors at the glorious Twin Willow Gardens. Rebecca and Brian Grant own Twin Willow Gardens and their wedding planning company is New Creations Weddings. They are consummate professionals and genuinely lovely people who welcome everyone to their gorgeous venue as if they are family and best friends. Bree Ann of Pink Blossom Events was our planner and coordinator and ensured that every last detail was designed and delivered to create our enchanting, breathtaking setting and services.

Ceremony Space Twin Willow Gardens

The venue space is designed and staged as if a real wedding were taking place and the vendor team that provide all the support services, from decor to catering, photography and videography, cakes and desserts, music, hair and make up, DJ services, photo booth, shuttle services, adorable outfits for your furry friends in attendance at your wedding, and yes officiant services, are all on hand ready to meet and greet all of you, and help you plan your wedding day. I have to give a special shout out to Oak and Fig Floral for the explosion of beauty and color that bedecked our entire space.

It can feel like a huge undertaking to bring your ideas and imaginings to life and it is my experience that working with dedicated, seasoned, deeply committed professionals, not only helps you discover what is possible, but feels like you are being taken by the hand by real friends who want as much, if not more for you for your special day.

What touched me deeply in the conversations I had with the many couples who came by on Sunday, was the acknowledgement that they really don’t even know where to begin when it comes to planning their ceremony. Most couples have not been to a lot of weddings or have been to weddings that showed them what they don’t want. It is such a joy to reassure them that the sky is truly the limit in the design of their ceremony. Even after just five or ten minutes of conversation, I watch as the nerves and uncertainty about saying their vows in front of family and friends and the confusion about what to even include in their ceremony to make it uniquely theirs, melts away and the smiles and even tears of excitement and joy emerge.

Once the ceremony ideas conversation has been had, we venture into the exploration of couples counseling. My calling is not only to help you declare your commitments to each other, but also to help you deepen your love over your lifetime together. Marriage is a living, breathing entity that takes attention, care and investment to be sustained and successful over the long haul. It can feel like the love you are embraced by in the early days of engagement will carry you both forever. Building a regular practice that helps you stay connected to your self and to each other as married life unfolds is perhaps the greatest investment you will ever make in your love story. Imagine having regular dates to check in and explore how are we? who are we? what do we need and want as we continue to grow and change individually and together? What does our marriage need right now to be the supportive container that we want it to be, for our love and our lives together? Am I continuing to be the person I vowed to be on my wedding day and are we still invested in supporting each other and being the inspired team we dreamed of being as we navigate life together? You can choose a package that includes having me help you design and officiate your ceremony and support you in a series of three counseling sessions or you can choose each element separately. Check out my wedding packages page for more information.

Thank you to all the couples who stopped by and began the conversation of saying “I Do” with me. Just like the other vendors who are so dedicated to their creative offerings and craft, I am passionate about helping you feel safe and filled with joy as you walk down that aisle and declare your commitments to your Beloved. Take your time with your planning. Let your vendor teams and gorgeous venue be the fabric that is woven around your hearts and then lets gather with your Dearly Beloveds and take the beautiful step across the threshold from your single life to your married life. Your ceremony usually only takes about twenty or thirty minutes. It is meant to last a lifetime.

Thank you Twin Willow Gardens and the stellar vendor team who showed up during a spring time deluge and created a day of magic and a wedding wonderland for couples to explore for their big day.

And last but certainly absolutely not least. A huge thank you to the amazing Jenn Tai & Co for the magnificent photos that captured all the glory of our day.
